preferences displays the Preferences dialog box. Use the
Preferences dialog box to interactively access and set options for MATLAB® and related products.

Open the Preferences dialog box.
preferences
Select the colors you want to use from the Error text, Warning text, and Hyperlinks color palettes. The new colors display in the Command Window sample area.
