Simplest waveform has constant amplitude over pulse duration.
Linear Frequency Modulated Pulse Waveforms
LFM pulse waveforms increase time-bandwidth product and improve target detection.
Stepped frequency pulse waveforms increase time-bandwidth product and improve target detection.
Phase-coded waveforms have good range resolution.
Staggered pulse-repetition frequency waveforms remove Doppler ambiguity.
