Textual analysis of the printed record
The Visualizing English Print (VEP) Project is a collaboration between computer scientists and literary scholars. By drawing on the affordances of cross-disciplinary research, we hope to scale textual analysis and visualization to increasingly large corpora, beginning with the early modern period. As a corollary, we aim to make early modern texts more accessible for computational analysis. We seek to design tools to support the workflow of humanist scholars.
