Flux Linkage Data

The data file defining the motor flux linkage is saved in ee_import_fem_motorcad_mat.mat. The script ee_import_fem_motorcad_data.m shows how this data was originally exported from Motor-CAD into the MATLAB® workspace.

The plot below shows the simulated open-circuit voltages. Notice the nonlinear back EMF profile that would not be captured if using a simplified PMSM model with fixed back EMF constant.
