Root Menu

By clicking on the desktop (anywhere a window or icon does not currently exist) with the right mouse button, a menu appears that allows you to open shell terminals to enter other commands, create directories, program launchers, and files on your desktop, or even change your desktop background. This is called the root menu. Any directoies, launchers, and files on your desktop appear in the ``Desktop'' directory in your home directory.
